My kind of street art

I found these hand painted stripes on the walls old Vicenza city walls in Italy. I had to to take a picture!

They invoked my curiosity. What was the artist trying to say? I have no idea. But these stripes converted old wooden doors into something creative and playful. Love the technique, love the outcome, so simple and so effective. If this indeed is intended as street art, it clearly shows that you don’t need giant murals and thousands of dollars to impact your city walls in a positive/creative way.

Kudos to the author, I find this very fresh, cool and inspiring.
